whether BUYing or SELLing a home!
Having worked with seven Realtors throughout the course of my PCS moves, I can say without hesitation that Scott Schuetter is the best Realtor I have ever met. Scott is a model of all the attributes one hopes for in a real estate agent. He is proactive, but never pushy. He is always truthful, whether he has good news or bad. He is completely familiar with every aspect of real estate transactions. Whether he's projecting what may happen to short term interest rates or helping you center the sofa table in your family room, he always has a substantive answer to your question. As a former Navy officer he also knows the challenges of a permanent change of duty station. After a delay in my orders, Scott worked with my wife and I for over 18 months. As a result of his perseverance, we were able to purchase a simply beautiful home in a neighborhood that is a perfect fit for our family. As a first-time home buyer, I entered the real estate market with a whole lot of questions and more than my share of uncertainty. I knew that I wanted to find "my house," but I don't know that I could have articulated to you what that house would look like. I contacted Scott about a listing, and within minutes of meeting him knew that I had found my perfect Realtor. He listened to everything I had to say: everything from where I was coming from to where I wanted to be to the things that are important to me. From that, he was able to help me figure out just what I looking for in a house. I never felt hurried or pressured. Scott was genuinely invested in helping me find my perfect home.

Speaking for both of us...after looking at homes with two other Realtors prior to working with you, we both felt that you did an excellent job and far and away better than our previous experiences. We really appreciated the attention to detail (like water bottles set up in the car) and the research prior to looking at a home (checking the comps and reviewing the stats prior to walking into the house). Overall we felt like you had the time for us, wanted to take the time, and were more than willing to get us into a home we would love. Surprisingly that is not as common as you would think. I also appreciate your patience for those times when you heard the stress in Matt's voice. :-)

Let us begin by saying “Thank You”! So far we have absolutely enjoyed every minute in our new home and can’t wait to start adding our touches to the place. We can both say that if it was not for you and the Champion staff that our dream of owning a house would still be just that … a dream! About a year ago, Nick and I began one long process of hunting for that perfect first house that just had everything. After about 6 months or so we truly thought that we were not meant to own a house. Scott told us to keep our chins up and when the right house came along we would just know it. Our experience with Champion Realty, and with Scott Schuetter in particular, ranks among the best. If Scott wasn't able to answer his phone when we called, he ALWAYS returned our calls within the hour, most often within minutes. I had meant to send you a nice thank you card to let you know what a wonderful experience we had going through the process of finding and buying the perfect place on the Bay! You really listened to us and heard and understood exactly what it was that we were looking for. You quickly located the ideal properties for us to view and didn't waste our time taking us to places that were outside our price range. Your feedback, advice and opinion was always helpful and given very thoughtfully. When you made a prediction as to how something might go, that's how it went! You were never pushy, and we never felt pressured to make an overly quick decision. You were well organized and paid attention to detail and your follow through was always very quick and effective. You went above and beyond - you very quickly found us great insurance, unbelievable mortgage rates, a wonderful builder etc. You have offered to keep in touch and help us settle in, and we particularly appreciate the offer of the consultation with your wife. Home-buying in any market can be challenging and transferring with the military even more challenging. Scott took the huge emotional burden away by providing timely choices and quality homes in our price range. Scott does his homework! Every house that we looked at was tailored to our wishes. He quickly gauged our likes and dislikes and courteously reminded us of them when we started to get off track during the house hunting phase. Scott is a kind and patient Realtor that makes you feel like you are the most important customer. His availability and frequent communication with us never diminished.
